Music at Disneyland Paris

Even though you may not notice it outside of your favorite attraction, Disney background music plays an enormous role in creating the ambiance for the most magical place on earth. The songs blend seamlessly as you wander from Frontierland to Fantasyland and that’s no accident. Just as cast member costumes change with their “land” to keep guests immersed in the experience, so too does the soundtrack.

Disney BGM starts your day, building anticipation as you walk through Fantasia Gardens to the turn styles and it’s the great big “Welcome!” moment on Main Street U.S.A. (You’ve arrived! It’s really happening!) as you take it all in. It’s the soundtrack to your rides, your meals and your memories throughout your time at the parks. Disney Magic on Parade!, Disney Dreams! and the all new Spring into Spring program enhance the spectacular entertainment with mood boosting music that stays with you long after the exit loop says, “See Ya Real Soon.”

One of the best ways to extend that Disney feeling once you’ve arrived back in the real world (and a helpful way to counter those post-Disney blues) is through the soothing musical sounds of vacation. Everything from the sounds of the “Dentists in Training” window on Main Street to Hotel New York’s “Basin Street Blues” are available for your listening pleasure online.

Ride throughs, area music, seasonal specials, parades, announcements before the parades – virtually every Disney sound you might be longing for is out there – it just takes a bit of research.

There are a number of great Disney music sites on the internet. Here is a list of our current favorites:

MouseWorld Radio operates as would a normal radio, with six different stations that play all types of Disney music 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

ilovedisneylandparis has by far the best collection of Disneyland Paris specific music, all in one place.

MrThemeParkAudios has a fantastic YouTube page with audio from DLP queues, parades, background music and more.

MagicMusic allows visitors to view track listings that compose the music loops for specific places, such as the Blue Lagoon Restaurant in Disneyland Paris, but also gives listeners the opportunity to post requests or questions. Once you’ve found what you’re looking for, you can download each song on iTunes and compile your own playlist.

MouseBits is a great resource for downloading torrents of your favorite Disney tunes. Site registration is required.

What the hell? Is Tumbler always this stupid or is it something wrong on my end due to not having the right components? I don’t know anything about Tumbler as I don’t do social Facebook style stuff.

Hi there! I’m sorry you’re having trouble. All the links appear to be working. Perhaps if you click this link directly it will help:

Hi there! I’m sorry you’re having trouble. It looks as though the links on the tumblr page for ilovedisneylandparis aren’t working at the moment. You used to be able to click on the links but I am now receiving the same error message as yourself. At the very least, that list will give you the names of the songs played throughout the park, and you can download and compile your own songs using MouseBits, etc. I’ll send a message to the person who created the tumblr page to see if it can be fixed. Thanks for the heads up!
